Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • a. Specific Neck Pain due to upper cross syndrome
  • b. College Going Students (19\-25 Yrs. Age).
  • c. Both males and females
  • d. Postural Dysfunction(including forward head posture, increased cervical lordosis and thoracic kyphosis, elevated and protracted shoulders, and rotation or abduction and winging of the scapulae).(1\)
  • e. Cranio Vertebral Angle less than 48\-500
  • f. NDI score\[15\-24points (30\-48% ) moderate disability]
  • g. Subjects willing to participate in the study with consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • a)Diagnosed with herniated disc and tumors in cervical region.
  • b)Diagnosed with neurological ,metabolic, or systemic diseases.
  • c)History of cervical spine surgery
  • d)Any known shoulder pathologies (frozen shoulder, arthritis)
  • e)History of trauma and inciting event at cervical and scapular region
  • f)Thoracic scoliosis
  • g)Subjects taking muscle relaxants.
  • h)IASTM and ART contraindications(open wounds, skin infections,etc).
