Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All young women attending the Gynaecology OPD of Lok Nayak Hospital in the age group of 15\-25 years, with either a diagnosed case of PCOS, or are found to have PCOS on subsequent investigations, and have attained menarche at least 2 years prior to the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Women who are a known case of
- •1\. Type 2 diabetes mellitus
- •2\. Congenial Adrenal Hyperplasia
- •3\. Thyroid Dysfunction
- •4\. Hyperprolactinemia
- •5\. Ovarian tumors
- •6\. Cushing Syndrome
- •7\. Women who are taking medications known to affect plasma sex steroids such as anti\-androgens, hormonal contraceptives and insulin\-sensitizing drugs for atleast 3 months before the study.
