Inclusion Criteria
- Primary osteoarthritis
- 55-85 years of age
- Platelet count of more than 100,000
- PT,PTT,INR (<1.5) within normal limits
- Cr < 1.5
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients with known genetic or acquired coagulation disorder
- Patients with renal failure, liver failure, heart failure, lung failure
- Allergy to TXA
- Patients with ischemic heart disease or arrhythmia
- Previous history of DVT, PE, Stroke
- Patient with secondary arthritis
- Active infection, Cancer, stroke
