120 patients of ASA physical status I and II of both genders aged between 19 -60 yrs undergoing LC were included in the study.
1.Diabetes mellitus, significant cardiac, hepatic or renal disease
2.GIT disease
3.Laparoscopy replaced by laparotomy
4.Previous history of PONV/ motion sickness
5.Patients with body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m2
6.Currently receiving steroids or antiemetics
7.Allergy to study drugs.
8.Pregnancy or menstruation
9.Patients who cannot be contacted by telephone.
10.Abnormal blood glucose on morning of surgery
