Inclusion Criteria
patients aged 18-70 years old,
ASA I-III,
of both sexes
undergoing valve replacement surgery
Exclusion Criteria
Patients refused to take part in the study,
allergic to esmolol and dexmedetomidine,
asthmatic,
history of ß-blocker or dexmedetomidine intake,
history of cardiac conduction abnormalities
and with pericarditis
