Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1)Diagnosis of menopause by a gynecologist according to STRAW study criteria and post menopausal period for up to 5 years.
- •2)Age group of 40–60 years.
- •3)Be willing and be able to practice yoga and walk.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1)Women who are already practicing Yoga or any
- •known regular exercise regime.
- •2)Women with surgical menopause.
- •3)Receiving Hormonal therapy.
- •4)Significant cardiovascular and other co morbid disease.
- •5)Active psychological disorder or other
- •medical disorders.
- •6)Malignancies in the last 5 years.
- •7)Having major surgery scheduled within 3 month of baseline visit.
- •8)Orthopedic limitations.
- •9)Beta blockers and lipid lowering drugs.10)Large weight loss- 20 or more kg in the past
- •11)Alcoholism, Smoking
