Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. FEV1/FVC \< 70%
- •2\. Moderate stage; 50% 3\. Severe stage; 30% 4\. Age 40 to 80 year old
- •5\. Has a 10 pack\-year smoking history
- •6\. Good communication
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Cardiovascular system contraindications for exercise and exercise testing
- •2\. Long\-term oxygen therapy or pulse oxygen saturation \< 90% at rest
- •3\. Clinical unstable and exacerbations, defined by increase in chronic inhaled therapy, within the last four weeks
- •4\. Musculoskeletal pain or weakness that limit independent exercise
- •5\. Cardiovascular disease e.g. coronary disease, anemia, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension
- •6\. Neurological impairment e.g. poor balance and co\-ordination, abnormal movement
- •7\. Patients who have to use medicine that reduces heart rate (Beta 2\-blocker, Diltiazem, Isoptin, etc.)
