- •1.Age >24 hour (h) and <=10 days
- •2.Apgar at 5 min greater than 6
- •3.Serum total bilirubin (STB) less than 20 mg/dL
- •4.Exclusively breast fed
- •5.Body weight >2.5 Kg
- •6.Gestational age >=37 weeks.

- •1.Hyper-bilirubinemia requiring exchange transfusion
- •2. Rh hemolytic disease
- •3.Evidence of hemolysis in peripheral smear
- •4.Positive direct Coombâ??s test (DCT)
- •5.Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
