Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All hospitalized infants from age 1 month till 12 months requiring venepuncture
Exclusion Criteria
- •1 Infants less than 1 month of age
- •2 Seriously ill infants
- •3 Sedated infants
- •4 Febrile at time of venepuncture
- •5 Neurological impairment
- •6 Gastrointestinal malformation
- •7 Patients requiring more than 1 prick for venepuncture
- •8 Developmental delay
