Inclusion Criteria
- •forty children belonging to either sex scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Congenital anomalies
- •2\)Difficult airway in pre\-operative evaluation
- •3\)Requiring rapid sequence intubation
- •4\)Severe cardiac disease
- •5\)Cervical instability
- •6\)Reactive airway disease
- •7\)Metabolic disease
- •8\)and children whose parents refuse to participate in the study will not be included
