Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Presence of ankylosing spinal disease (ankylosing spondylitis or diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis, DISH, Forestiers disease, etc.).
- •Presence of an acute unstable thoracic or lumbar spine injury
- •surgical therapy by means of long\-distance dorsal instrumentation with internal fixator in CRIF or ORIF technique
Exclusion Criteria
- •Additionally, ventral stabilization of the fracture was performed
- •Pathological cause of fracture in the sense of primary bone tumors or metastases or on the basis of bacterial\-inflammatory diseases (spondylodiscitis)
- •Additional injuries of the lower extremities resulting in limited mobility in stance and gait
