This cross-sectional study aims to evaluate the association of platelet indices and ABO blood groups with vascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
详细描述
Vascular complications are a major cause of morbidity in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Platelet indices and ABO blood groups may be related to these complications.
This observational study will include adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Patients will be classified into those with and without vascular complications. Platelet indices (MPV, PDW) and ABO blood groups will be assessed.

入选标准
- Age 18 years or older
- Confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus according to ADA criteria
- Written informed consent
排除标准
- Type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Gestational diabetes
- Acute infection or sepsis
- Hematological disorders affecting platelet count or function
- Malignancy
- Chronic liver disease
- Autoimmune diseases
- Current anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy
- Recent major surgery or trauma
- Pregnancy

Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have microvascular or macrovascular complications.
T2DM without Vascular Complications
Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have no microvascular or macrovascular complications.
