1. Newly diagnosed cases of AD (ICD-10-CM code L20.9) as per UK diagnostic criteria with a minimum duration of suffering of 3 months
2. PO-SCORAD values more than 10
3. Age: 18-65 years
4. Participants of either sex
5. Literate patients; ability to read Bengali and/or English
6. Patients giving written informed consent to participate
7. Patients already undergoing treatment for AD were planned to be recruited on completely stopping the medicines and after wash-out phase of 1 month
1. Severe and disseminated forms of atopic dermatitis
2. Vulnerable population ââ?¬â?? unconscious, ambulatory, too sick for consultation, differently abled, terminally ill or critically ill patients, institutionalized subjects, mentally incompetent people
3. Diagnosed cases of unstable psychiatric or uncontrolled or life-threatening systemic illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure
4. Tobacco chewing and/or smoking or any other form(s) of substance abuse and/or dependence
5. Self-reported immune-compromised states
6. Pregnant and lactating women, puerperal mothers
7. Patients already undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months
