Obese patients (BMI >30) posted for lumbar Laminectomy
•Patients had undergone previous spinal surgery.
•Patients who had hypertension, central nervous system, cardiac, respiratory, liver, or renal disorders.
•Contraindications to the placement of transurethral bladder catheter.
•ASA grade >2
•Patients on anti-platelets/anticoagulants were excluded.
•Any difficulty in positioning the transurethral bladder catheter would be considered a contraindication to the continuation of the study, and the patient would be excluded.
