Inclusion Criteria
All patients undergoing Total Thyroidectomy
Exclusion Criteria
1)Previous thyroid surgery or irradiation
2) Coexisting parathyroid disease
3)Age less than 12 years
4)Using a drug that interferes with calcium homeostasis (Ca or Vit D supplements, lithium, bisphosphonates, diuretics, etc.)
5)Total thyroidectomy with central and lateral neck dissection
