Women with diagnosis of muscular or mixed TMD (according to DC / TMD), adults, between 18 and 40 years old, with clinically normal occlusion, body mass index from 18.5 to 29 points.
Individuals who have a diagnosis of TMD of joint origin, who have more than three dental absences or two absences in teeth of occlusion pairs; who make use of muscle relaxants; have some neurological impairment that prevents the understanding of tasks; has previously undergone speech therapy for TMD and / or is undergoing orthodontic treatment and is above the body mass index.

Name Time Method It is expected to find a decrease in muscle electrical activity, or balance between muscle groups with ipsi and / or contralateral characteristics, verified through surface electromyography and presentation of parameters through the percentage of values in RMS normalized by the Maximum Voluntary Contraction
