•A subject will be eligible for inclusion in this study only if all of the following criteria applied:
•1 Patients between the age of 18-60 years of either sex.
•2 Patients having sign and symptoms of Primary Hypothyroidism.
•3 Patients who are already diagnosed as hypothyroidism and under Levo-thyroxine medication but still presenting with the increased TSH level

•A subject will not be eligible for inclusion in this study if any of the following criteria applied:
•1 Patients below 18 yrs and above 60 yrs of age.
•2 TSH level above 30ÂµIU/ml.
•3 Patients suffering from congenital hypothyroidism and secondary hypothyroidism.
•4 Pregnant women, hyperthyroidism, neoplasia, toxic goitre are excluded.
•5 Patients who have under gone any type of thyroid surgery.
•6 Patients whose symptoms are worsely aggravated after leaving the modern drug Levo-thyroxine (for washout period).
•7 Mentally ill/ Retarded patients.
•8 Drug induced hypothyroidism.
