20-70 year-old, American Society of Anesthesiologists I, II and ? patients requiring double lumen endotracheal intubation for elective thoracic surgery
Exclusion Criteria
Morbid obesity (body mass index >35), active lung disease, uncontrolled cardiovascular disease, anticoagulant therapy, abnormal coagulation profile
