Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion Criteria for Case subjects:
- •1\. Patients diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and oro pharynx between 18 to 45 years of age.
- •2\.Malignant neoplasms of the Lip, buccal mucosa,lower alveolus,retro molar trigone, oral tongue,floor of mouth (FOM), upper alveolus.hard palate, tonsils and the oro\-pharynx.
- •Inclusion Criteria for Control subjects:
- •1\. General walk\-in people at the Out\-Patient Department with a diagnosis of non\-cancer conditions, and no chronic illness of the head and neck regions and no history of head and neck surgery and matching age(±5 years) and sex.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria for Case subjects:
- •1\. Patients with age more than 45 years.
- •2\. The cancers of nasopharynx, hypopharynx and salivary glands.
- •Exclusion criteria for Control subjects:
- •1\.Patients with age more than 45 years.
