Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Full term healthy infants, less than 3 months of postnatal age, either exclusive or partial breast fed, who will attend the immunization clinic for first DPT vaccination according to universal immunization programme.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. All infants who have required hospital stay for more than 48 hrs
- •2\. Perinatal asphyxia ( 5 mins apgar score less than 7\) or delayed cry if born at home
- •3\. IUGR wt less than 10th percentile for gestational age
- •4\. Pre\- term deliveries ( less than 37 weeks of gestation)
- •5\. Previous surgery
