Inclusion Criteria
at least 24 teeth, smartphone owner (i Phone or android)
Exclusion Criteria
- Inability to follow the procedures of the study, e.g. due to language problems, psychological disorders,
dementia, etc. of the participant,
- Less than 24 natural teeth
- Dental hygienic treatment within the last 2 weeks
- Inability to hold a toothbrush
- Inability to brush teeth
- Oral injuries that might cause pain while brushing teeth
- Full brackets
- New to apps

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The plaque index will be determined twice. The first time before the intervention (after two weeks of using the<br>toothbrush) and the second time after the intervention. The plaque will be coloured and then inspected.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The secondary endpoint is the usability of the app. This is determined by a self-developed questionnaire.
