简要总结
The results showed that wrist pain intensity, measured using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), decreased over time in both the intervention and placebo control groups. In the intervention group, VAS scores decreased from 5.04±1.31 before the intervention to 2.77±1.51 after 4 weeks. In the placebo control group, VAS scores decreased from 5.38±1.24 to 3.92±1.77. The main effect of time was statistically significant; however, the main effect of group and the group-by-time interaction were not statistically significant. Therefore, the hypothesis that the auricular acupressure group would show a greater reduction in wrist pain intensity than the placebo control group was not supported. Pressure pain threshold significantly increased over time in the intervention group at all measured sites, including the thenar eminence, median nerve, and hypothenar eminence. The group-by-time interaction effects were also statistically significant at all measurement sites. Therefore, the hypothesis that the auricular acupressure group would show a greater increase in pressure pain threshold than the placebo control group was supported. Wrist range of motion significantly increased within the intervention group for both flexion and extension. However, the between-group differences and group-by-time interaction effects were not statistically significant. Therefore, the hypothesis that the auricular acupressure group would show a greater increase in wrist range of motion than the placebo control group was not supported. Wrist function, measured using the Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation (PRWE), significantly improved in the intervention group. PRWE scores decreased from 38.75±11.47 before the intervention to 24.77±12.02 after the intervention. In the placebo control group, PRWE scores decreased from 39.62±14.18 to 35.19±13.53, but this change was not statistically significant. The group-by-time interaction effect was statistically significant, indicating that the improvement in wrist function was greater in the intervention group than in the placebo control group. Therefore, the hypothesis that the auricular acupressure group would show greater improvement in wrist function than the placebo control group was supported. In summary, 4 weeks of auricular acupressure had positive effects on increasing pressure pain threshold and improving wrist function among VDT workers. The findings also suggest a potential benefit for reducing wrist pain. However, no significant between-group differences were found in wrist pain intensity or wrist range of motion. These results indicate that auricular acupressure may be used as a feasible, non-invasive, and non-pharmacological adjunctive nursing intervention for managing wrist pain and functional discomfort in VDT workers.

研究组 & 干预措施
Others(Auricular Acupressure) : The intervention in this study is a non-invasive intervention involving pressure stimulation of specific auricular points using commercially available auricular acupressure stickers. The intervention is administered for a total of 4 weeks, and the researcher applies the auricular acupressure stickers once a week through face-to-face contact with each participant. Before applying the stickers, the researcher performs hand hygiene, cleans the auricular area with an alcohol swab, and checks for any skin abnormalities. To prevent skin irritation, the stickers are applied alternately to both ears. The stickers are maintained for 5 days after application and then removed for a 2-day rest period.
