简要总结
Nursing students struggle with recalling essential pharmacological information, leading to potential medication errors and adverse drug events. The lack of pharmacology knowledge is attributed to deficiencies in basic nursing education and a failure to maintain this core information, described as skill decay. The present study aims to assess the effectiveness of using a scavenger hunt, a game-based learning approach, in teaching pharmacology to undergraduate nursing students. By incorporating interactive and student-centered strategies like scavenger hunts, the study seeks to enhance the learning environment, improve basic pharmacological knowledge, and promote the acquisition of clinical skills for safer patient care.
· Null hypothesis
The scavenger hunt for teaching pharmacology will not have any effect on learning of pharmacological concepts among undergraduate nursing students.
· Alternate hypothesis
The scavenger hunt for teaching pharmacology is effective in improving the learning of pharmacological concepts among undergraduate nursing student.
