1) Female patients aged 18 to 80 Years
2) ASA physical status 1-3
3) Primary breast cancer without known extension beyond the breast and axillary nodes (i.e. believed to be Tumor Stage 1-3, Nodes 0-2)
4) Scheduled for modified radical mastectomy
5) Wide local excision (lumpectomy) with node dissection
6) Written informed consent
1) Previous surgery for breast cancer
2) Inflammatory breast cancer
3) Any contraindication to fascial plane blocks (including coagulopathy, allergic to local anaesthetic)
4) Patients with known allergy to eggs or anaesthetic agents (propofol, paracetamol etc.)
5) Patients who have received neoadjuvant chemotherapy prior to surgery
6) Patient not fit for multimodal postoperative therapy (e.g; low ejection fraction)
7) Pregnant patients
