Inclusion Criteria
1. Anemic adolescents with Hb <12 gm %
2. Residing in the study area for more than 6 months or planning to reside in the same area for at least 6 months or 1 year
Exclusion Criteria
1. Diagnosed Chronic diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, sickle cell anemia and thalassemia etc
2. Pregnant or lactating women
3. Diagnosed bleeding disorders
4. Severe anemic adolescent girls (Hb <8gm/dl)
