Inclusion Criteria

  • Uncomplicated ventral hernias –
  • a.Umbilical hernia,
  • b.Para umbilical hernia,
  • c.Hypogastric hernia,
  • d.Epigastric hernia
  • e.Incisional hernia.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Complicated hernia (obstruction and strangulation),
  • 2\.Groin hernias (inguinal, femoral hernia)
  • 3\.Recurrent ventral hernia,
  • 4\.Age \<18 years,
  • 5\.Divarication of recti,
  • 6\.Ventral hernia with loss of domain,
  • 7\.Pregnancy.
