Brief Summary
The purpose of the study is to develop a program to help people to lower their chances of being violently injured again.
Investigators
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •age between 18-65 years
- •intentionally injured in community violence.
- •admitted to a Level 1 trauma center
- •able to provide voluntary informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •under the age of 18 or over the age of
- •not fluent in the English language
- •patients with suspected mental retardation or active psychosis as determined by brief clinical screen.
- •patients currently in legal detention status
