Inclusion criteria were patients in age from 20 to 70 years old and of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I, II or IIIscheduled for elective arthroscopic RTC repair under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria were patient refusal, American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status = 4, psychotic disorder, infection at the puncture site, coagulopathy, pregnancy, known allergy for local anesthetics, neuromuscular disorder, diaphragmatic disorder, cardiopulmonary disorder, and taking analgesics within 24 h before surgery and previous history of neck surgery.
