Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Patients who are older than 18 years of age
  • •2\)Patients having midline ventral hernia and planned for elective intraperitoneal onlay mesh (IPOM)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Patients who are \< 18 years old
  • •2\)Patients with an allergy to local anesthetic agents or bupivacaine
  • •3\)Patients with history of chronic opiate usage
  • •4\)Patients with history chronic liver or kidney disease
  • •5\)Patients having pain syndromes
  • •6\)Patients who will be converted from laparoscopic to an open procedure
