Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. ASA I and II patients
  • •2\. Patients with body mass index between 18\-30 kg/m2
  • •3\. Patient posted for open cholecystectomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. patients with known coagulopathy /thrombocytopenia
  • •2\. Localised infection at the proposed site of injection
  • •3\. Inability to comprehend the scoring systems to be employed
  • •4\. Known allergy to the drugs to be used
  • •5\. Opioid tolerance /dependence
  • •6\. Renal/hepatic impairment
  • •7\. Known cardio respiratory impairment or any neurological disorder
