1 Acute low back pain and stiffness with a H/O
trauma (any type of twisting or stretching of
paraspinal muscles due to sudden jerk)
2 Onset of symptoms within 4 weeks
3 Patients between 25-50 years of age,
irrespective of sex, religion, occupation
socioeconomic status
4 Patients satisfying the diagnostic criteria
1 Low back pain resulting from osteoporotic
fracture malignancy infections and other
fractures due to trauma
2 Pregnancy
3 Patient underwent recent surgical interventions
and post surgical backache
4 Patient with bladder or bowel incontinence
5 Chronic systemic steroid use
6 Systemic illness
