native German; normal hearing both ears: hearing thresholds up to 10 dB HL up to 4 kHz; mild hearing loss both ears (WHO grade 1); moderate hearing loss both ears (WHO grade 2); severe hearing loss both ears (WHO grade 3); cochlea implant users with sufficient hearing abilities (SRT Oldenburg sentence test <20dB SNR) and worse hearing abilities on to CI contralateral ear
underage; kognitive impairments; decreased vision, which impairs reading abilities; patients without cochlear implants not fitting into the defined subject groups; cochlear implant users without sufficient speech understanding (SNR of standard Oldenburg sentence test larger or equal to 20 dB)
