Overview

Brief Summary

Brief methodology summary

This interventional study will recruit cooperative children aged 4–6 years from schools after obtaining institutional ethical approval, trial registration, parental consent, and child assent. Participants will be assigned to one of two intervention groups: a modified Bobo doll (teddy bear) group demonstrating prosocial behaviors, or a toothbrushing demonstration group. Each child will individually view a standardized two-minute video corresponding to their group twice. Behavioral acquisition will be assessed through video recording while the child is left alone with the respective model immediately after viewing. Behavioral performance will then be evaluated after the investigator re-enters, provides incentives, and encourages reproduction of the observed behaviors, followed by another video-recorded session. Acquisition and performance will be scored based on predefined verbal and motor responses (maximum score: 6). Statistical analysis will compare acquisition and performance outcomes.
