Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patients undergoing procedures requiring general anaesthesia
  • 2\) Patient must be on calcium channel blockers therapy
  • 3\) American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) 2 patients
  • 4\) Patients in age range 19\-60 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patients on pacemaker
  • 2\) Patients who are diagnosed with any form of arrhythmia
  • 3\) Patients with compromised kidney function (GFR less than 60 ml/min/1\.73m2\)
  • 4\) Patients posted in an operating theatre not equipped with SPI monitor
  • 5\) Patients who are on tourniquet as tourniquet pain may affect SPI value
