Conclusion, the dependent patients need medical equipments but they were not a limitation for the transfer. The lifting by 2 lifters was recommended for lowering the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and the evacuation plan for dependent patients with medical equipments might have been established and drilled annually with all stakeholders.

- •1. live in 8 Hat Yai City Municipality-healthcare centers, Songkhla province, Thailand
- •2. score The Barthel Activity of Daily Living Index </= 8
- •3. need medical equipment
- •1. healthy males who were firefighters or municipal officials
- •2. between 20 and 60 years old
- •3. no recent back pain.
