Inclusion Criteria

1. Age between 20 to 60 years.

2. Irrespective of sex and economical status.

3. Diagnosed cases of Sthoulya.

4. BMI exceeding more than 30kg/m2.

5. Waist Hip Ratio (WHR) from 0.81 to 1.0 and above, will respect to females and male

Exclusion Criteria

1. Pregnant women.

2. Patient with severe illness.

3. Patient suffering from metabolic disorder like Diabetes, Hypothyroidism etc.

4. Patient with secondary causes of Sthoulya.

5. Patients taking any medhohara aushadha or any anti-obesity medicine.

6. Patient who had undergone obesity related surgery ex bariatric, gastric bypass etc

Oral Intake of Akruta Yava Yusha can scrape away the unwanted dhatus (tissue) and malas <br/ ><br>(metabolic wastes) and thus can be helpful in removing extra fat (medadhatu) also known as <br/ ><br>Lekhana karma. It is a simple, easily available drug, cost effective treatment modality.Timepoint: 6 weeks

Oral intake of Akruta Yava Yusha may reduce the subjective parameters and objective parameters in Sthoulya. These can provide a safer, cost effective alternative to the present conventional treatment, which can be useful in a country like India.Timepoint: Baseline, 14th, 28th, and 42 days. Post up follow up on 56th days.
