Inclusion Criteria

1. Adult patients of either gender aged between 18-65 years planned for mesh repair of ventral hernia.

2. Patients having uncomplicated primary ventral or incisional hernial defects.

3.Midline defect with expected hernial width equal to or less than 10cm.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patient with associated groin hernia.
