Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA grade II ansd III preeclamptic parturients proposed for lower segment cesarean section under sub arachnoid block

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. patient refusal
  • •2\.deranged coagualtion profile
  • •3\.infection at the site (l3\-l4\)
  • •4\.spine deformity
  • •5\.raised intracranial pressure
  • •6\. moderate to severe cardiopulmonary compromise
  • •7\. psychiatric dsease
  • •8\. gestational diabetes
  • •9\. moderate to severe hepatorenal compromise
