Inclusion Criteria

1. Healthy adult patients

2. Maxillary and mandibular molars

3. Vital teeth indicated for root canal for endodontic, periodontal and prosthodontal reasons

4. Moderate to severe bleeding from the pulp chamber either from a normal/ hyperemic pulp on initiating access cavity preparation

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients on anticoagulants

2. Active intravascular clotting

3. Subarachnoid hemorrhage

4. Hypersensitivity to Tranexamic acid

5. Pregnancy of lactating mothers

6. Upper renal tract bleeding

7. Hemorrhagic diathesis

8. Occular conditions like defective color vision
