Volunteers with complaints of clicking and pain or just clicking on the temporomandibular joint; both genders; age between 18 and 70 years.
Volunteers with different clicking noises; individuals with complaints of non-articular pain; patients with a known diagnosis of degenerative joint diseases; patients who had undergone previous surgery of the temporomandibular joint; individuals under the influence of analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, anticonvulsant and benzodiazepine medications.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method CLINICAL DATA: In the clinical examination, information regarding dental absences, vertical overlap, horizontal overlap, malocclusion, maximum interincisal distance, protrusion, right and left laterality will be collected through visual observation. All information will be noted on a relevant form.<br><br>;SOMATOSENSORY DATA: The somatosensory data include the mechanical pain measurement using the monofilament on the skin of the temporomandibular joint region, applying a vertical force ranging from 0.008 g / mm2 to 300 g / mm2; Temporal summation test as the same filaments, adding the response of 10 consecutive applications; and, the Pressure pain threshold with the use of a lightly pressed algometer on the skin of the temporomandibular joint region.;PSYCHOSOCIAL DATA: these data are formulated from the answers of self-completed questionnaires by the individual about the quality of his sleep, oral habits, stress and anxiety.
