1.Patients who need fixed prosthetic restoration (single crowns,FPD) in maxillary and mandibular premolar-molar region
2.Tooth preparation with supragingival or equi-gingival margins
3.Abutment teeth that are vital or endodontically treated with a sealed root filling to the apex, and had to be without apical periodontitis for the past 6 months.
1. Patients who have not completed oral prophylaxis and restorative treatment.
2. Patients with systemic diseases or consuming medication affecting gingiva.
3. Existing gingival and periodontal diseases. Patients with a gingival index score greater than 0.5.
4. Patients having known allergic reactions to the materials used in the study.
5. Pregnant or lactating patients.
6. Patients with unacceptable oral hygiene status
7. Smokers and patients consuming tobacco.
8. Participants in which more than 2 teeth can be assessed.
