  • Cricket, a high intensity intermittent sport, imposes significant physiological and neuromuscular demands on athletes, leading to acute and chronic fatigue.
  • Fatigue is a crucial factor influencing athletic performance, particularly in high intensity sports like cricket. The sport demands prolonged physical and mental exertion, often leading to accumulated fatigue that affects players performance, recovery, and injury risk.
  • Fast bowlers, in particular, are prone to neuromuscular fatigue due to the repetitive explosive movements required for bowling.
  • Given these implications, fatigue management is vital for optimising player performance and preventing injuries.
  • Aqua T Relax is a passive recovery technique which is done in water and the patient is floating on the surface of water.
  • Progressive Muscle Relaxation is an active recovery technique which involve constantly tensing and relaxing the muscle and relaxing it. Different muscle groups are used to promote fatigue recovery.

入选标准

  • Age group between 18-30 years.
  • Professional cricketers from various clubs in Belagavi city.
  • Participants who are willing to participate.
  • Players who have played professional match in past 1 month.
  • Lactate level should be more than 4mmol/L16,.
  • Players who have experience of 5 years.

排除标准

  • Musculoskeletal injuries.(injuries which performance) Neurological impairment faced by patient.(impairments which affect performance) Players who have played match on the day of intervention.
  • Players who have underwent training or match on match day.
  • Subjects with Hydrophobia.

结局指标

主要结局

1) Lactate Analyzer – Lacto Spark

时间窗: 1) Lactate Analyzer – Lacto Spark will be assessed during 5 min mark of intervention and 10 min mark and after intervention | 2) Multi dimensional fatigue Inventory | it will be assessed after intervention

2) Multi dimensional fatigue Inventory

时间窗: 1) Lactate Analyzer – Lacto Spark will be assessed during 5 min mark of intervention and 10 min mark and after intervention | 2) Multi dimensional fatigue Inventory | it will be assessed after intervention
