- •1.Elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation
- •2.Age group > 65 years
- •3.ASA grade I -III
- •4.BMI < 40 kg/m2
排除标准
- •1.Patient refusal
- •2.Unable to give consent
- •3.Pre-existing airway malformations or pathology like facial or cervical fractures
- •4.Unstable spine and history of cervical spine fixation
- •5.Maxillofacial abnormality
- •6.Patients with tracheostomy tubes
- •7.Pregnant patients
- •8.BMI > 40 kg/ m2
- •9.Emergency surgery
- •10.Nasal intubation
- •11.Intubation with fiberoptic scope or glidescope
- •12.Awake fibreoptic intubation
