All skeletally mature patients of age 18 to 65 years with recent isolated shaft of femur fracture which are closed type or Gustilo Anderson type I/II shall be considered for inclusion in the present study
1. Age < 18 years or > 65 years
2. Polytrauma patients
3. Gustilo Anderson type III
4. Fractures > 3 weeks old
5. Patients with peripherical vascular disease, smokers.
6. Patients with history of inflammatory, rheumatological or chronic diseases such as
uncontrolled DM,HTN,CKD and immunocompromised patients
7. Pathological or atypical fractures
8. Pregnant females
9. Previous surgery in same bone
10. Patient not willing to give consent for the study
