- •For Cases -
- •1. Drug-naïve overt hypothyroidism
- •2. Treatment with 100µg/day of levothyroxine
- •For Controls-
- •1. Healthy Euthyroid individuals
排除标准
- •1. Individuals with secondary causes for thyroid dysfunction or other co-existing endocrine or immunological diseases
- •2. Patients on medications that interfere with thyroid function
- •3. Patients who have undergone or are undergoing radiotherapy to the head and neck region
- •4. Smoking and/or alcohol-drinking
- •5. Diabetes Mellitus
- •6. Hypertension
- •7. Pregnancy â?? at the time of enrollment or during the study period
