1)Post caesarean section patients with wound gape which is defined as absence of continuity between edges of the surgical wound after removal of sutures on the seventh post-operative day.
2)All patients admitted during the study period willing to participate in the study by giving an informed consent.
1)Severe systemic illnesses like diabetes, hypothyroidism which impair wound healing
2)Immunodeficiency states including HIV infection and steroid therapy.
3)Complete burst abdomen involving separation of peritoneum and rectus with evisceration.
4)Severe anaemia with haemoglobin concentration below 6gm%.
5)History of allergy to any of the study medications.
6)Body mass index greater than 30.
