Histopathologically confirmed cases of reticular and atrophic-erosive OLP .
1.Patients with associated systemic diseases such as hepatic/ renal disorders, AIDS, tuberculosis, chronic alcoholics, pregnant women, patients taking antibiotics, NSAIDS and previously treated oral cancer and patient having history of chewing tobacco chewing / smoking etc.
2.Other oral lesions which mimic Oral Lichen Planus such as Lichenoid Reaction (diagnosed by taking history, clinical presentation and histopathology)will be excluded from the study.
3.Patients with clinical appearance of reticular and atrophic-erosive OLP who do not give consent for biopsy and are not ready to participate in the study.
