1.Patients between 40-60 years of age.
2.Patients with presence of atleast 20 teeth , probing depth and clinical attachment >4mm
3.Patients diagnosed with Diabetes Type â??II atleast 1 year prior to enrollment and are presently on oral hypoglycemic drug or insulin use.
4.Patients with Glycated hemoglobin >7.
5.Patients who are willing to be a part of the study and give a signed informed consent.
1.Patients who are only diabetic with no other systemic complications and not on any other medications.
2.Patients who are using anti-fungal medicaments or on antibiotics in the past three months.
3.Patients with a history of anemia, radiation therapy.
4.Patients using dentures or crown restorations.
5.Smokers
