Inclusion Criteria
60 adult male patients (20-65 yr)
with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II,
undergoing elective microdiscectomy for lumbar herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP).
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with a history of bladder outflow obstruction, transurethral resection of prostate, overactive bladder, end-stage renal disease, chronic pain, cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disease, and psychiatric disease were excluded.
