The study is to evaluate the effect of nalikera ksheera khanda in underweight. Study setting is OPD of Swasthavritta, Govt Ayurveda college Tripunithura. Study population is underweight subjects of all sexes of age 13 to 18 years and BMI less than 18.5kg/ð‘š2. Sample size is 30 and study period is 45 days. The body mass index and mid arm circumference will be assessed on 0th and 45th day. The data collected will be processed and conclusions will be made accordingly.

入选标准
- •Underweight subjects of all sexes of age 13 to 18 years.
- •BMI less than 18.5kg/ð‘š2
- •Mid arm circumference less than 12.5cm.
- •Subject will be selected irrespective of profession, religion, caste and economic status.
- •Subjects willing to include this preparation in their diet.
排除标准
- •Known cases of severe systemic illness
- •Congenital and hereditary problems
- •Hormonal deficiency
- •Diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism
- •Subjects taking other nutritional supplements (vitamins and minerals).
